- Description
- A gold-toned medal with attached ribbon. The obverse of the medal features the letters [U S A] above central image of the five interlocking Olympic rings above the word [XEROX]. The background of the medal is textured and a laurel leaf design appears in relief curving around the edges of the medal. The reverse has the same textured background and laurel leaves. In the middle appears a rectangular box housing the Xerox logo and the words [100 GOLDEN OLYMPIANS]. Below this box are two shiny rectangular banners with [CARL LEWIS] etched into the top one and [ATHLETICS] etched into the lower one. Below this the date [JULY 18, 1996] appears. The medal is attached to a blue, white, and red striped ribbon.
