Description
This compact disc demo released for The Dixie Hummingbirds’ 77th Anniversary “with special guests” features a cover of Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus”. The compact disc has a blown up image of the Milkboy Recording Studio logo, with a child drinking milk and smiling. The Milkboy Recording Studio logo is in red block lettering on the UL region of the CD. The plastic case is a thin jewel case with a black plastic tray and a clear plastic cover. The liner notes are a 4 5/8”H x 4 ¾”W paper is roughly hand cut with uneven edges. The liner notes feature the text “Still… Keepin it Real:/ The Dixie Hummingbirds / 77th Anniversary with special guests” above a sepia picture of the Dixie Hummingbirds. Text below lists performance dates and sponsor logos. A white sticker on the verso of the case reads “PERSONAL JESUS / Dixie Hummingbirds / DEMO: 4:02 / Producers: Ira Tucker, Jr. / Tony Beck / Co-Producer: LaDeva Davis”.
