Description
A black-and-white photograph of a young dancer wearing a tutu with a beaded and ruffled bodice and a light colored, full skirt with ruffle around the hem. She also wears light colored tights and ballerina slippers and has a flowered headband in her hair, which is pulled into a high bun. She stands with her feet in fourth position, her hands clasped at her stomach, her head turned to look left of frame. Behind her is a relief sculpture of neo-classical figures singing, dancing, and playing instruments. The edition [4/10] and the photographer's signature are on the verso in graphite; there are no marks or inscriptions on the recto.
