- Description
- A color photograph of Charles Madison of Warrenton, Virginia standing in front of Madison's Barber Shop. He wears a suit, tie, and hat. The shop has a barber pole in front, and one of the double doors is open to the street revealing the red and white checkered shop floor. A handpainted signs on the large store-front windows read [MADISON'S / BARBER SHOP]. Also in the window are handwritten flyers for community organizations including an upcoming dance at the Warrenton Armory, the "Warrenton Jr. Rescue Squads Walkathon," and "Students for Christ." Below the image at left is [1986 2/15] and at right is [PINGERHUGHES]. There are no marks or inscriptions on the verso.
