- Description
- A Grand United Order of Odd Fellows in America medal. The medal has a large suspension brooch with attached to the medal. The suspension brooch has an all-seeing eye over a scale at top. Below the eye and scale is a triple linked chain with “FLT” inside the links. Two crossed axes are behind the chain. Engraved text below the chain reads “DELEGATE G.U.O.O.F. / 17th. B. M. C. / BOSTON, MASS. SEPT. 14-18-1914.” A heart and hand symbol is below the text. Attached to suspension brooch is square medal. The medal has an image of marching soldiers engraved on it. A soldier on a horse is at the center of the medal. A winged angel is flying above the soldiers. The back of the medal is engraved with a maker’s mark.
