- Description
- A memorial ribbon for George Fisher used by the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows. The front of the ribbon is red with dark red text and gold fringe at the bottom. The top of the ribbon has a white suspension brooch with a gold border. Text inside the suspension brooch reads “PAST NOBLE BROOCH.” Suspended below the suspension brooch by blue ribbon is a medal with a white interior and gold border. Depicted inside the medal is the G.U.O of O. F. insignia with the words “AMICITIA AMOR ET VERITAS.” A white ribbon is underneath the medal. Text below the metal reads “GEORGE FISHER / LODGE NO. 5861 / G.U.O.OF O.F / CLARK, N. C.” The back of the ribbon is black with white text. The text reads “IN MEMORIAM / G.U.O. OF O. F. / GEORGE FISHER / LODGE NO/ 5861 / G.U.O. OF O.F. / CLARK, N. C.” The G.U.O of O. F insignia is at center and is also in white.
