- Description
- Walt Disney's Uncle Remus featuring music from the soundtrack of "Song of the South." Record cover is yellow with color illustrations of the actor James Baskett, who played the Disney character Uncle Remus, as well as Brer Rabbit. Each character stands on a green field with stylized flowers. Surrounding the characters are butterflies. On the PR shoulder of Uncle Remus sits a blue bird with wings extended. At the top in the upper left corner is a logo for Disneyland Records. In the upper right corner is a number in black text [1205]. At the top in the upper fourth, is the title of the album. The first two (2) lines of text are in black, the third line, also of the largest font, is purple [All the Songs from/WALT DISNEY'S/Uncle Remus]. In the upper right quadrant, below the title, is a sample song list [Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah/Sooner or Later/Uncle Remus Said/How Do You Do/and others]. Along the bottom is a line of black text [Music from the Original Sound Track of Song of the South]. On the back are still images from the film, "Song of the South" as well as a small summary and song listing.
