Description
Hardcover book with red rectangle in the center with white text [THE NEGRO/IN WORLD/WAR II]. Below the title in red text is the author [by John D. Silvera]. Radiating out from the middle are horizontal black stripes, increasing in size the further away they are from the middle. Between the black stripes is a white background. On the spine the title is listed in the center. Below the title is the author, in red text [John D. Silvera]. Near the base of the spine, in red, is the publisher [Military/Press/Inc.]. On the back cover in the lower left center, near the PR edge, is additional text in white [PHOTOTONE/Passaic, N.J.]. On the inside of the front cover in the upper left corner is a the owner signature and address in ink [Louis Beasley, 02276/Chaplain (Lt Col) USA/7871 st T(illegible) Gp/APO 800, USArmy].
