- Black wool felt cap with feather plumes designed by Mae Reeves. The felt is formed into an asymmetrical cresent-like shape with an ear cut-out on the proper left side. Long irredescent brown feathers are attached to a single plastic quill case pierced through the front fold of the cap and tacked in place with black thread. The underside of the cap is edged with black grosgrain ribbon. An ivory fabric designer label with black printed text is adhered to the ribbon at the proper left back side that reads: "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA".
