Description
A campaign poster from Jesse Jackson’s 1984 presidential campaign. The poster is white with an image of Jesse Jackson in the upper right corner. The image of Jackson is tinted blue and features Jackson looking at the viewer and smiling. He wears a dark jacket, white shirt, and dark tie. At the upper left corner of the poster written in blue text is “NOW / IS / THE / TIME.” In the lower half of the poster is red and blue text that reads “JESSE / JACKSON / for / PRESIDENT / NEW YORKERS FOR JESSE JACKSON / 1473-1477 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, New York 11216 (212) 493-3001.” At the bottom poster written in red text is “HON. ALBERT VANN / CHAIRMAN.” Next to this at the bottom center of the poster is “PAID FOR BY NEW YORKERS FOR JESSE JACKSON.” On the right side of the bottom of the poster written in red text is “GEORGE GLEE, JR. / TREASURER.”
