Captured at Fort Still, Oklahoma, Charles Sumner Sr. wears a small cap featuring two crossed rifles with a “24” at the top and a “G” at the bottom, and a dark button- down jacket. At the bottom of the of the photograph card, inscribed in dark ink, is: [Charles Sumner S]. On the reverse of the cabinet card, inscribed in ink, is: [Charles Sumner Sr. Fort Sill, Indian Territory].
