- Description
- A tintype of an unidentified U.S. Army Buffalo Soldier seated on a stone prop. Captured in studio against a teepee with tree backdrop, the soldier poses in full uniform wearing a small hat; dark button-down jacket; light-colored striped trousers. A musket and bayonet rest against his proper left arm and leg and he gazes forward, to the side of the camera. There are no markings on the reverse of the tintype.
