- Description
- A tintype of a U. S. Buffalo Soldier standing beside a low fringed chair. Captured in studio against a veranda backdrop, a young unidentified Buffalo Soldier gazes directly at the camera. He is wearing his full regiment uniform: a small gun-crossed hat; a bright shirt; a dark chevron decorated jacket, unbuttoned; trousers and dress shoes. His proper left hand rests against the back of an upholstered wooden low chair with fringe. He stands atop a textured carpet. There are no markings on the reverse of the tintype.
