- Description
- A black-and-white albumen cabinet photograph of U.S. 25th Infantry’s H Company, Dakota Territory. Captured in formation outside a long wood and vinyl building, H Company soldiers, stand shoulder to shoulder in full infantry uniform with packs and blankets on their backs. Each man holds a long gun and looks away from the camera. At the bottom left of the photograph in faded white bold ink is: [ H company 25th / Infantry U.S.A. 1887 / Photo. By Grabill]. There are various graphite numerical inscriptions on the reverse of the photographs.
