- A cabinet photograph depicting a man wearing a boutonnière. Captured in studio, an unidentified dark-haired man poses gazing beyond the camera. He has a wide moustache, wears a bright high collar shirt and plaid jacket with boutonnière in his proper left breast pocket. At the bottom of the photograph card in brown ink is: [T. J. There are various numerical graphite inscriptions on the reverse of the cabinet photograph along with the photographer's mark readin [FROM THE / Photographic / STUDIO / of / T.J. BRUCE, / Marshall, Texas. / I PRODUCE ONLY THE FINEST WORK.] in several different elaborate typefaces.
