Description
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of Aurora Greeley. Greeley is depicted from the shoulders up, set against a white background. Her head is turned and she is looking towards the top left corner of the image. She is wearing a dark garment with a small, satiny, cowl neck. She also wears a light colored half hat embellished with an organza veil that drapes over the proper right side of her face. An inscription in green ink in the top right corner reads, [To Sally- / A Very Dear Pal” / Much success with / your magazine - / Fondly- Aurora-]. The photographer’s mark is stamped in black ink at the top left corner on the back of the image and reads, [Tivoli / PHOTO STUDIO L. A.].
