- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of the tap duo, Chuck Green and James Walker. Both boys are centrally depicted facing the viewer, with their faces turned. Walker, depicted on the left side of the image, is wearing a dark, double breasted jacket, tie, medium toned pants, and a white fedora with a dark band. The brim of the fedora is turned up. He is standing with legs apart, hands at his sides, and looking toward Green. Green is depicted on the right side of the image. He is turned with his back towards Walker, hips held slightly forward, with his hands resting on his hips. He is looking towards the left side of the image. He is wearing a medium toned, double breasted jacket with dark silk lapels and buttons, a tie, and a bowler hat. Both boys are smiling. The photographer’s mark, printed in the negative in the bottom left corner reads, [STRAND / N.Y]. There are no inscriptions on the front or back of the image.
