- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of a man. The man is depicted from the chest up, against a dark background. He is seated with his proper left shoulder held forward, his head turned towards the viewer, and with his chin slightly tilted towards the right side of the image. He is wearing a medium toned suit, striped button down shirt, and a patterned tie. He has a black pocket square tucked into his proper left breast pocket and a small round pin on his proper left lapel. The photographer's mark, printed in the negative, in the bottom right corner reads, [H. BATTELLE / N.Y.C.]. There are no inscriptions on the front or back of the photograph.
