- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of The Henry LeTang Dancers at Club 845, posing in matching costumes. Each of the six (6) women is wearing a large scalloped headpiece, a crop top with winged shoulders, and a long skirt with an embellished waist. Two (2) of the women are kneeling on the ground, leaning sideways on one arm, with their other arm held up. Two (2) stand behind them with their arms out, bent at the elbow, with their palms held up. The remaining two (2) women stand on either side, with their arms bent at the elbow and hands held at chest level. Laura Cathrell is depicted on the far left and Birdie Warfield Edison is depicted second from the right. A large number of tables are set up behind the women. Each table is covered with a tablecloth and set with two (2) chairs. There are no inscriptions on the front or back of the photograph.
