A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of a man. The man is depicted from the knees up, facing the viewer, and looking slightly to the right. His proper right knee is raised and he is resting his proper right hand on his knee. His proper left arm hangs at his side. He is wearing a dark toned suit, white collared shirt, and a patterned tie. He has a white pocket square in his proper left breast pocket. He is shown against a white gradient background. In the top left corner of the photograph is a handwritten inscription in blue ink that reads, [Lady Laura / You will al- / ways--- "rate 4 stars" --- / with me... / Dancingly yours / Harvey -]. The photographer's mark, printed in the negative, located in the bottom right corner reads, [Diaz & / Rogers / N.Y.]. There are no inscriptions on the back of the photograph.
