Description
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of six (6) people standing at a tailor shop’s front counter. The two (2) men and two (2) of the women are standing behind the front counter. The man depicted on the left is standing behind a cash register. He is wearing a collared shirt and striped pants. He has a measuring tape draped over his shoulders. The man on the far right is standing in front of a rack of clothes. He is wearing a dark, button down shirt. Two (2) women stand between the men behind the counter. The woman on the left is wearing a white, short sleeve blouse. She is resting her proper left arm and proper right hand on the counter in front of her. The woman to her right is wearing a short sleeve, diagonally striped blouse. There is a paper wrapped package on the counter in front of her. There are two (2) additional women standing in front of the counter on the far left and the far right. Both women are wearing light colored skirts, dark knee length coats, and hold leather handbags. In the background are racks of clothes. Above the counter is a white lattice above venetian blinds that have been raised. There are no inscriptions on the front or back of the photograph.
