- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of Bill "Bojangles" Robinson seated with a group at a table with a group of six people. The group is depicted sitting around a rectangular table covered with a white tablecloth. The woman on the far left is wearing a satiny dress with a large bow below the front collar. The woman next to her is wearing a medium toned jacket and matching skirt over a light colored blouse. The woman to the right of center, chorine Birdie Warfield Edison, is wearing a medium toned dress. She has shoulder length hair with rolled bangs. The woman on the far right is wearing a light colored short sleeve sweater and plaid skirt. Robinson is depicted wearing a light tone suit jacket, dark tone pants, a white collared shirt, and a light tone tie. He is leaning back in his chair and smiling at the viewer. The man who is sitting on his haunches next to him, has his proper right arm around Robinson’s shoulders and his proper left arm around Edison’s back. He is wearing a dark suit jacket, light tone pants, and a white collared shirt. The man seated on the right is wearing a suit, a white collared shirt, and a diagonal striped tie.
