A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of a woman. The woman is depicted in full length, reclining in a booth, with her legs draped over the booth cushion to her proper left side. Her proper left hand rests on her proper left calf and her proper right arm is braced against the wall of the booth. She is wearing a long, light colored dress with puffed, elbow-length sleeves and she has flowers tucked into her hair. In the background, above the booth, are two framed pictures. The picture on the left side of the image depicts a figure, and the picture on the right is a landscape. The photographer's mark, printed in the negative, in the bottom left corner of the photograph reads, [H. BAttELLE / N.Y.C.]. Pencil crop markings on left and right edges of the recto. There are no inscriptions on the front of the photograph. There are several pencil notations written on the back of the photograph.
