Description
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of Birdie Warfield Edison with two unidentified men. All three are depicted from the thighs up. The men stand on either side of the Edison and their bodies are turned slightly towards her. She has her arms around their backs. She is wearing a medium toned, satiny dress with a matching belt, three strands of pearls, and round earrings. The man on the left is wearing a medium toned suit, white collared shirt, and a dark patterned tie. The man on the right is wearing a dark blazer, light toned pants, a white collared shirt, and a patterned tie. In the background, on the right, are walls covered in leaf patterned wallpaper and a wooden chair. In the background, on the left, is a bar. On the back of the photograph is a partially cut off inscription in pencil that reads, [[C]ame[?] Home thinking a / might be Borling[?] since / ha[sic] three hours, and a half off / I see the cupboard is bare, and / one at home. Will see you / [la]ter[?]]. There are no inscriptions on the front of the photograph.
