- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of Lee Simmons and her Boston Terrier dog, Lady. Simmons is depicted in profile, reclining on a chaise. Her proper left leg is extended. Her proper right knee is raised and bent. Lady is standing on the chaise and has his front paws resting in her lap. Lady is depicted in profile, but with her head turned towards the viewer. Simmons is looking at Lady and has her proper left hand resting on Lady’s shoulder. In her proper right hand is a copy of Cosmopolitan magazine. She is wearing a white, short sleeve, collared dress. On the end table next to her is a pile of Redbook magazines. In the background are lowered Venetian blinds. There are no inscriptions on the front or back of the photograph.
