- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of a man. The man is depicted from the chest up. His proper left shoulder is held slightly forward and his head is turned towards the viewer. He is looking up and slightly to the right. He is wearing a black tuxedo jacket, white vest, and white bow tie. There is a boutonniere attached to his proper left lapel and a white pocket square in his proper left breast pocket. He is shown against a dark background. The photographer's mark, printed in the negative, located in the bottom right corner reads, [H. BAttELLE / N.Y.C.]. There are no inscriptions on the front or back of the photograph.
