- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of a tap dance duo, Billy and Milly. Billy and Milly are depicted standing back-to-back with their faces turned towards the viewer. They are wearing matching all white outfits with caps, shirts, pants, shoes and dark polka dot ties. Milly is standing with her proper left arm reaching toward the left edge of the image and her proper left knee bent. Billy in posed the same manner but with his proper right armed raised and his proper right knee bent. The soles of their shoes are placed together. The front of the image is inscribed in blue ink in the top left corner: [To "Laurie" / a cute dancer / and a cute / person whom I / understand - and / that's sayin [sic] sumpin [sic] / Best wishes from two pals / Billy and Milly]. An embossed stamp in the bottom right corner reads [DELUXE / THEATRICAL STUDIO / [---?] /[---?]. The photographer’s stamp is in purple ink on the back of the image.
