- Description
- A photograph folder from the Ubangi Club. The paper folder holds a black-and-white photograph (2013.46.25.67.1). The folder is green with a faux leather finish and is held together with two (2) staples along the spine. The front cover centrally features green text in a black circle with protrusions on the left and right sides. The text, written in varying fonts, reads, [THE WORLD FAMOUS / UBANGI / club]. On the right is a stylized, black graphic of a female dancer, depicted wearing bikini top, beaded jewelry, armbands, and bracelets. Black text at the bottom, bordered above and below by two (2) red lines, reads, [1678 BROADWAY - NEW YORK / 3 SHOWS NIGHTLY - - - CIRCLE 6-4959]. The black-and-white photograph is housed on the right, interior page of the folder, in a paper frame. The left interior page is blank. On the back of the folder is printed black text, bordered by a black decorative frame, which reads, [SOUVENIR PHOTO / $1.00 / REMEBRANCE OF A / PLEASANT EVENING AT / UBANGI CLUB].
