- Description
- A wood pulpit chair with a dark finish. The chair has four legs with the rear legs extending the full height of the seat back. The front legs are turned with varying geometric shapes and are topped with the seat. Connecting the front legs to the back legs are two curved stretcher bars. Between the two stretcher bars is an additional support bar. The seat cushion and chair back are padded with faux-leather covers. The covers are adhered by metal studs. The chair back features a line of stylized foliage carved on the front of either side of the uprights. The uprights of the chair back are capped with scrolls. The center of the top rail of the chair features large, carved acanthus leaves in the center with scrollwork extending down either side. The bottom rail of the chair back features a similar but smaller design of acanthus leaves and scrollwork.
