Description
An archival pigment print photograph of collaged images. Just right of center, a collaged image of a standing figure appears atop a background black-and-white photograph of the exterior of a house. The figure appears standing in front of the doorway. The figure consists of a black-and-white floral print at top and along the left side. The bottom right of the figure consists of large black type reading [OCTOROON.] against a white background set against an image of smaller text portions of a Bible verse listing the descendants of Solomon. The only full names visible are "Ahaz" and "Manasseh." The print is mounted on black sintra pvc board with back frame and a label with the artist, title, date, medium, and dimensions.
