- Description
- Black-and-white photograph of girls in majorette uniforms performing on a field at Booker T. Washington High School. The girls wear matching uniforms of dark band jackets, skirts, dark boots, and dark hats with large feather plumes. They stand in rows and hold batons in their left hands. The majorette at center wears dark pants instead of a skirt. At right is a majorette in light colored hat, jacket and skirt stands facing the others. Behind the majorettes is a full marching band with a large crowd in bleachers in the far background. The number “26” is written in pencil on the back. There are no other marks or inscriptions.
