- Description
- Marriage Certificate of Luther Miller Pulce and Irene Jenkins of Centerville, Tennessee. The certificate is dated Oct. 30, 1902 and is on a pre-printed colored document. The document has church bells, doves, white flowers and a large wedding ring with an outside church scene at center depicted on it. At left center are printed and hand written words "This certifies that Luther Miller Pulce of Centerville Tenn. and Irene Jenkins of Centerville, Tenn. were joined together by me in the bonds of holy matrimony." Below this the name of the church where the wedding took place, the date, the witnesses and the person who signed the certificate. There is an inscription on the back written in blue ink and signed by Irene Harris that gives the details of her first husband's name. See transcription text entry for a full transcription.
