This black-and-white photograph depicts men in a small group standing on the National Mall. One man, standing sideways to the viewer, holds a sign in his left hand that reads "Brothers / Gonna / Work / it Out." He wears headphones, a dark leather coat, and dark pants. His right hand is gesturing or waving to a man on the far left of the picture, wearing a white shirt and hat, with his right hand raised. Five other young men gather around the sign holder, wearing jackets and sweatshirts. One has his back to the viewer. A turret of the Smithsonian Castle is visible in the background to the left.
