- Description
- This black-and-white photograph depicts a group of men during the Million Man March. They are gathered on and around the Statue of Peace. In the foreground is a grouping of three men, two holding up their fists while a third one, in baseball cap and glasses, also holds a sign that reads "THIS IS HISTORY." They look directly at the viewer. Behind them are a number of other individuals sitting and standing on the monuments' steps. Several also hold their fists in the air. There is a flag draped across the monument’s base that reads "PUBLIC / ENEMY."
