Description
Digital images of a photograph of Tulsa Race Massacre survivors and their supporters in front of the United States Supreme Court Building at a demonstration in support of reparations. Image of front of photograph depicts survivors Otis Clark, Thelma Knight, and Wess Young Sr. standing in front of Representative Maxine Waters and lawyer Charles Ogletree Jr. Additional individuals are visible behind. Clark wears a black cap with brown braid, and a tan overcoat over a suit and tie. Knight wears a black fur hat and black coat. Young Sr. wears a Dallas ballcap, eyeglasses, houndstooth jacket over blue polo, and a medallion that reads "WE CAME FROM / KINGS & QUEENS" with an ankh superimposed over an outline of Africa. All three wear the Oklahoma Medal of Distinction on green ribbon. Over Waters' right shoulder is Mary N. Elliott, a descendant of Tulsa Race Massacre survivors. The back of the photograph lists the names of the five individuals, location of the photograph, and the date. Back also has repeating [FUJIFILM / Fujicolor CrystalArchive / Paper] watermark.
