- Description
- A costume design drawing by Judy Dearing for an unidentified male character from an unidentified theatrical production. The drawing depicts a man with a mustache standing with his left hand in his pants pocket and his right hand hanging at his side. He wears a cream boater hat with a blue hatband, a dark gray jacket over a lighter gray vest and a white dress shirt with thin blue stripes. His blue necktie matches his hat band. His loose-fitting dress pants match his vest, and are cuffed at the hem over his black oxford shoes. His left shoe is unfinished, only the toe is colored in. In the lower right facing corner is a drawing of the same man from the knee up wearing the same dress shirt and pants, but with a purple bowtie and a dark blue cardigan with a blue, green, and purple diamond design on the front sides of the sweater. The man and his clothing are outlined in graphite with watercolor and unidentified pigment shading. The reverse is blank.
