- Description
- A pair of leather gloves from the 10th Cavalry of the Buffalo Soldiers. The gloves have a cleft for the index finger. Remaining fingers held in the larger portion of the glove. Flared, wide wrist safety cuffs are on both gloves. The cuffs are wider at the base than the wrist. Within the left glove, on the interior of the top of the cuff, is a worn insignia for the 10th Cavalry with the initials: [Q. M. D.] near wrist. Within the right glove, on the top and bottom interior of the cuff, are worn insignias with the initials: [Q. M. D.] upside down on the top interior of the cuff.
