- Description
- Member pin for the Afro-American Sons and Daughters. This is a composite object: a gold colored pin holding a blue ribbon that has a button attached to the bottom of the ribbon. The gold pin is rectangular shaped with a safety pin closure on the back as well as another pin closure below to hold the ribbon. The front of the pin is a small frame holding a piece of white paper with text that reads [MEMBER]. Below the pin is a royal blue ribbon made from synthetic satin with printed gold text that reads [Afro-American / SONS AND / DAUGHTERS]. Attached to the bottom of the ribbon is a white button with the seal of the organization; two concentric circles with the text, [AFRO-AMERICAN / SONS AND / DAUGHTERS] prints between the circles and an upside down triangle that has text in white written in each leg of the triangle [FORESIGHT / FAITH / ENDURANCE]. At the center of the triangle is a figure. On the back of the blue ribbon is gold text that reads [Adcraft Mtg. Co. Chi.].
