- Description
- A small metal teardrop-shaped pendant with a small ring hanging from the center point of its widest base through which a string or ribbon might be threaded. The front of the pendant is engraved to depict the award title and school name. A shield is the bottom point from which two wings stretch out and up, curving to the sides of a circle at the center of the medal. The university name [Prairie View A & M College] is written in embossed text along the top arc of the circle. At the center of the circle is a small, lit torch behind a rectangular placard which contains the text [Industrial / Education / Award].
