Description
A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along a section of the Edisto River in Colleton County, South Carolina. Prospect Hill Island can be seen in the lower portion of the photograph, separated from the mainland by Edisto River. Three canals connect to the river, flowing through the fields on the mainland. These fields are mostly light green, except along the canals where they appear brown. In the top right, the Edisto’s main channel can be seen flowing south, from the image’s top edge to the right edge.
