Fields just north of Willtown Bluff on the Edisto River. –Description from photographer, David Soliday.
Description
A digital aerial photograph depicting remnant rice fields along a section of the Edisto River, north of Willtown Bluff, South Carolina. The river can be seen flowing from the top right all the way to the bottom left, making a deep meander around halfway through. The fields can be seen in the bottom left, just north of Prospect Hill Island, which is partially visible in the bottom left corner. Much of the image’s top half consist of distant vegetation that appear taller and greener than the vestigial fields in the foreground.
