Description
A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along a section of Black River in South Carolina. The river, which flows south from the image’s left edge to the top right, appears sea blue against the bright green of the adjacent fields. Vestigial canals can be seen along the riverbank on the right side of the photo as well as by the bank on the top edge. There are trails on the dikes adjacent some of these canals.
