Description
A digital aerial photograph illustrating soil erosion within remnant rice fields near Georgetown, South Carolina. The fields in the photograph are almost completely flooded, however, remnant canals and levees create a grid-like pattern, especially in the image’s top right. The water in the fields appears deep blue in contrast to the light green and light brown grasses interspersed.
