- This is a hazy day view of fields on the north side of the Savannah RIver - meaning they are actually in South Carolina. –Description from photographer, David Soliday.
- Description
- A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields on the north side of the Savannah River. The foreground features the green tops of a cluster of trees, which stand out against the flooded vestigial rice fields that occupy the center of the photo. Remnant dikes and canals create noticeable geometric shapes in the wet grass. Farther south, container cranes along Georgia’s banks of the Savannah River, industrial exhaust, and a faint glimpse of the Talmadge Memorial Bridge reach high above the surrounding flatlands.
