Description
A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields at the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge. The foreground features flooded vestigial fields bordered by a canal with roads flanking either side. Dikes within the flooded fields rise above the water level, creating intricate geometric shapes. Farther south, Little Black River meanders by. Industrial plants, container cranes, cargo ships, and stockpiles of shipping containers can also be seen on the Georgia side of the Savannah River.
