This is a hazy day view of fields on the north side of the Savannah River - meaning they are actually in South Carolina. –Description from photographer, David Soliday.
Description
A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields on the north side of the Savannah River. Most of the photograph features greenish-brown grasslands, however, variations in the vegetation create brownish-black and light brown patterns within the topography. Two remnant canals can be seen flowing from the nearby Little Black River. Farther south, in the distance, the Talmadge Memorial Bridge rises over Hutchinson Island. The smaller Pennyworth Island, which sits between Hutchinson Island and the mainland, is also visible, just to the left of Colonial Terminals Inc.’s large cylindrical storage facilities.
