Caption
Georgia Rivers. A field near Waverly, GA. – Description from photographer David Soliday.
Description
A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields near Waverly, Georgia. The photograph is taken above fogs/low-lying clouds, making the rivers below look silver in the dim sunlight. Waverly Creek can be seen flowing from the left until it reaches the middle of the photo and flows into the Satilla River. Just below the confluence where the rivers merge, a few vestigial canals are still visible in the grass, while Ocean Highway is partially visible underneath some trees close to the image's bottom edge.
