Georgia Rivers. A field near Woodbine, GA. –Description from photographer, David Soliday.
Description
A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along the Satilla River, near Woodbine, Georgia. The foreground features tree clusters that partially obscure houses and roadways underneath. The house farthest to the right overlooks a small pond in its yard. Much of the rest of the image consists of remnant rice fields with vestigial dikes and canals that connect to the Satilla River, which meanders by in the distance. On the opposite bank of the Satilla, taller vegetation is visible, marked by a darker shade of green than the nearby grasslands.
