- Georgia Rivers. The upper Satilla River. There is not much left of this particular field. –Description from photographer, David Soliday.
- Description
- A digital aerial photograph of a remnant rice field along the Satilla River in Camden County, Georgia. Tall trees occupy the image’s left edge, while the field is in the center. Vestigial canals and dikes are still visible in parts of the field but have completely faded in other parts. A single tributary extends through the field to a larger branch of the Satilla River, taking up about three-quarters of the length of the image. More fields can be seen in the distance, adjacent the larger Satilla branch.
