Description
A digital aerial photograph of wetlands in the Altamaha River. The image shows an island in the middle of the river. Remnant canals and puddles of water look silverish in contrast to the surrounding grasslands. The grass on the island’s north shore, which is closest to the camera, appears greener where it comes in contact with the river water.
